Cincinnati’s scoring meets an Atlanta reset
Cincinnati’s 43-36 overtime win over Tennessee showed both sides of its profile: enough scoring to overwhelm an opponent, but plenty of room for the other offence to stay involved. Atlanta’s 0-16 loss to Tampa Bay is a stark contrast, although one result should not erase the Falcons’ 29-point performance against San Francisco a week earlier.
Madrid removes any ordinary Atlanta home-field argument. Burrow gives Cincinnati continuity at quarterback, while Penix’s mixed team sample still carries the existing rating hold. Atlanta also loses Branch and Ebukam. The useful question is whether the Falcons can sustain drives and prevent Burrow from repeatedly playing with a short field; there is no published selection.
